Nathan Tong

When Nathan began wushu at the age of nine, both he and his parents were happy to find an outlet for his energy. That outlet eventually became more of an occupation than a pastime. For the past six years, Nathan has been a member of the US Wushu Team, and traveled to China and Italy for competitions and training. At the 1995 World Championships, Nathan won a bronze medal and garnered a fifth place finish as well. After major knee surgery in 1996, Nathan maintained his devotion to the sport and has since won the Collegiate Tournament title and was the top qualifier in every US Team Trial since 1997. Nathan is an aspiring veterinarian and enjoys outdoor sports and prefers the music of The Offspring.

Anne has competed and performed nationally and internationally, most notably for the United States National Wushu Team, competing at the World Wushu Championships in Rome, Italy and the Pan American Wushu Championships in Toronto, Canada. She has also competed for the Metro All Stars National Karate Team on the NASKA (North American Sport Karate Association) Circuit, where she was ranked number one in women's Chinese forms and number four in women's weapons. Anne has a bachelor's degree from Stanford University in psychology and communication and is currently a preschool teacher in San Francisco. Aside from wushu, Anne is an avid fan of swing dancing, fine cuisine and the movies.
